The Iraqi Aikido participated in the 25th anniversary of the German Aikido Federation

The invitation to participate in this event was extended by the head of the Federation Sensei Max Eriksson to Erbil dojo of the Iraqi Aikido. The event was delivered by Sensei Christian Tissier. It continued from 18 to 22 of October 2025 including a Buken practice session from 10:00 to 11:00 followed by two Aikido technique practices on daily basis. There was a formal ceremony at the beginning to mark the event and an Embukai during the second day.

Participation in this event provided a number of opportunities for improvement. It was a practical venue for refining technique with Sensei Tissier. It also provided a platform for networking and contributing to the international body of Aikido under the International Aikido Federation. The event also contributed to disseminating the values and mission of Iraqi Aikido as an active partner in the Aikido scene.
